Why did this little seedling sprout out purple/dark? Is it in the genes? Cause i have 5 more and there were all green? So i dont think temp is an issue?
i got a purple seedling right now, as i recall from my last grow the colorers just mixed and faded into a darker green stem at the bottom
Just give it a couple days man. If it lives it lives, if not oh well. Try to keep humidity reasonable during, sprouting and NEVER water after the seed has gone into dirt and before it pop dirt. Might get to much moisture and cause damping off. Good luck.
nope. looks like the coating from inside the seed. if not that (it would eventually fall off) then the first colors are reds to show up in seedling. yellow and green come next. Its why in fall leaves change color(due to the lack of pigmentation)
I find a light misting when they still have the casing on them helps them fall off easier. That or try to take it off with tweezers vary gently. The faster you can get the casing off the faster the leaves start growing.
