Dark Side of The Moon

The first time I listened to it was the first time I smoked weed. My buddy and I bout jumped off the futon when 'Time' came on and all the clocks went off. That CD really pulls you in but you almost have to listen to it from begining to the end

 

I'm listening to it now after a few bowls with itunes visualizer on.....pretty amazing stuff. Can totally feel the music.

 

Try it with some LSD next time.

 

i can still remember the first time i listened to time. i was super high walking around school, delivering slips to classes because i was an aid for counseling. i probably would have cried, if i hadn't been so high.

I listened to it 3 times in a row on loop while on mushrooms. I just laid there for a little over 2 hours just listening and watching all the cool shit going on in my head. That album will never be the same again.

 

so, this summer I dropped a little acid, and was listening to Meddle (floyd album before dark side)

anyhow, the track Echoes tripped my balls off. If youve ever read Dantes Inferno (first part of divine comedy), imagine that in reverse

like, I felt as though the song was narrating the poem, paraphrased, in reverse, or rather ascending from the ninth level upwards. fucking trippy.

 

On another note. Has anyone listened to Dub Side of the Moon by Easy Star All Stars? It's a reggae cover of the whole album, and it's pretty amazing. Check it out if you haven't.

Echoes has to be my favorite Floyd song. If you enjoy that era of Pink Floyd i suggest you watch this movie called Pink Floyd Live in Pompei. Its a film shot in 72 i believe and it is just incredible. I watched this while peaking on acid and it was a life changing experience.

Amazing album, Any Colour You Like while stoned is ridiculous.

time and great gig in the sky are by far my favorite songs of all time but the whole album is just mindblowing.

Pink Floyd is a all around GREAT band to listen to while stoned OR sober. They are fucking amazing.
