Hey, Im going to cut down my tree in 10 days. Is it ok if I hang them in the flowering room? What should the light be like. I know the humidy to about 44-55 and temp to 65-75. But im unshure on light situation. I was told that after curing you put the air sealed containers in a cool dark spot, didnt know if this was likewise with hanging? Thanks for replys!!!
I keep my fresh buds in the dark. I rack dry and the buds dry in a drawer. I don't have an area where I can hang branch and full plants. If I did, it would be dark and protected from dust, danger and as much particulate matter than I see glistening in the beams of Sun light shining through the window.
Drying too close to lamps or heat sources damages the buds except for some Asian strains that get more potent when dried at a higher temp, but 75 degrees and 50% humidity is ideal for most.
