If you say so...But it is not legal to carry an ounce of cannabis in california. It has been decriminilized for awhile, so if you have an ounce or less you get a fine and no jail time but if they decide to charge you for intent to sell you would still go to jail. Here's the current law:

If you are talking about AB390, it passed one committee but died before getting a second hearing:

  7. Oum, actually your a little behind with that forum, you should stay here we keep everything up to date.

Yes it passed the Public Safety Committee but it needed to go before the Public Health Committee before last Friday, but the bill never made it in time and the legislation behind it expired. They would need to refile the bill, but there is an initiative in office that probably will be passed.

Also that forum only told you half the story.

  8. That link just took me somewhere where they were talking about AB 390....that bill died so no you cant carry that unless you want to be shackled.

  9. The bill passed through a hearing at a health committee board, but it by no means has passed into law... Even cali NORML director is shaky on whether it will pass if it goes to the actual ballots, but sees this as a step in the right direction. So it is not legal for anyone to carry and/or posses MJ unless it is prop 215 related.

  10. OP needs to read the article he is citing a little bit harder, since the California Assembly’s Public Safety Committee =/= state law.

  11. At least the thread title is correct.
