Once, after knee surgery, I was sitting wIth the front door open and two female missionaries came by. I thought they were from the hospital checking on me. I had been taking pain pills, muscle relaxers,and washing it down with Miller Lite. I was really tore up When they told me they were Mormon, I relaxed and starting asking questions like how many wives are allowed and did they do human sacrifices in the past. They quickly said a prayer for 'meand my knee, gave me a copy of the book of Mormon and left. A few weeks later, I got a call out of the blue for a job at a resort in Utah. I took it as s a sign I was supposed to go to Utah. It was a great change in my life, and the Mormon missionaries were part of that. I never became Mormon, but t gained a lot of respect for them.
