I guess I need to be more patient. started on 8/20,stretched a little under 80 watt flouro. Plants leaves on the very left seemed to have been eaten still gotta figure that one out. Also gotta figure out makin another flood & drain for the left 3 plants.
whoa dude that looks like a nice set up you got there i'm a newbie, just started my first grow so could you explain your set up i just got my plant in organic potting soil and some perlite whats that stuff in yours
its a two bucket flood & drain hydro setup. rockwool plugs, growing medium, 2 buckets, air pump circulating water in 10 gallon resivoir,1 timer for pump to flow water to top bucket 15 minutes 4 times a day, drains/hoses to drain each time, timer for light, tds meter + ph meter for testing water as far as adding nutes and changing the water out each week I haven't gotten that far yet. in the pics you may notice theres more hoses than the other pic which is due to 2 not draining fast enough...doh http://www.jasons-indoor-guide-to-organic-and-hydroponics-gardening.com/homemade-hydroponics.html
get some floros, and keep them 2inches away form the plant and soon it shall start veggin and watch it grow everyday.
thanks for the suggestions. Set up- 400 mh/hps switchable, flood&drain plus bubble bucket next to it I hit em with nutes and boy did they shoot up in just a few days. 1st pic is right before nutes 2nd is flood and drain up to date 3rd is bubble bucket with the bottom left plant growing really weird... I think something ate it as baby and now its growing multiple shoots? in weird directions Also the bubble bucket plants are smaller because I have been hand watering them in normal pots until I could transplant them.
what kind of nutes are you using and when did you start i just planted mine the 14th its only like a inch or so..kinda dissapointed thought it'd grow a lil faster I am ganna buy more cfls tho
general hyrdo Flora Nova 7-4-10. I didn't give them nutes until they were 2 weeks or so old. If I were you I wouldn't give your plants nutes unitl the 21st or later depending on how your plants look.
30 day update mutant has 4 shoots instead of 1 check it out. Most plants around a foot tall ... still have alot of shaded areas working on lst... bumped nutes to 650 ppm next week will go to 800 or more.
