Damian Marley...and other reggae

  1. what up i've recently been in a reggae phase and i have to say Damian Marley has some good shit. anyone else listen to him? my favorite songs are "Welcome to Jamrock" and "Road to Zion"

also my favorite song by Bob Marley is probably "Natural Mystic"

now these i am not quite sure if they fall under the reggae category but they kind of are they are just 2 other good bands i've come across

Slightly Stoopid - mellow and has a reggae sound to it. some good songs are "This Joint" and "Older" they are on Sub Noize Records so fans of Kottonmouth Kings check 'em out

also i saw that video on youtube with the big ass tulip joint and that song that was playing during it was awesome it's "Re Lion" by Soulmedic

    jamaica jamaicaaaaaa.

    peace.

  2. You should try listening to some Roots Reggae, like Burning Spear and Peter Tosh (among many others). Also, Black Uhuru is another good reggae band. For the Marley sons, my favorite would be Ziggy. Check out the cd "Spirit of Music". Some good songs on that cd are "All Day All Night", "Beautiful Day", "Higher Vibration", and, obviously, "One Good Spliff".

I'm not a reggae expert, so if anyone else has more reccomendations, feel free to add to the list.
