damages dna???

    so i got into a talk with the parental on the subject of MJ and she ays that it damages DNA and sperm but everything ive ever read says that there is no proof or convincing evidence that it does either now i know it lowers your sperm count but i havnt read anythhing about it damaging them i asked her where she heard this and she said "they" have done "studies"

    so basically do any of you know if tokeing damages ur DNA??

    DNA won't be affected. That's craziness.

    Sperm, however, are affected. The count will be lower.

    When I was in college, one of my Biology teachers showed us a film with some slides of sperm. There were sperm that had no tails, split tails, jacked up heads and weird things like that. They were supposedly sperm from a stoner. I don't doubt that that might happen at all. However, it won't affect shit because the damaged sperm isn't going to last very long. Not long enough to fertilize an egg, that's for sure. Men shoot out a ton of those little fuckers when they come so a few bad spermies aren't that big of a deal. Hell, caffeine and other shit could probably cause the same effects on sperm...that just wasn't included in the film. (And it very well could have been propaganda type shit because I've had a hard time finding other info on it. It makes sense though.)

    I wouldn't say it's a natural birth control... Ask my sister who got pregnant while the father at the time smoked SOOOO much, lol... His sperm obviously wasn't affected very much, lmao.

    If weed changed your DNA, you'd:

    1) Get Cancer
    2) Mutate in some other way
    3) (most likely) just straight up die.

    From everything I understand about DNA, you can't just change someone's DNA. When it does change by getting damaged or whatever, the cell that has it dies or freaks out and multiplies (cancer). But I'm no biologist.

    I somehow doubt unless you're getting slathered with pure whatever (shit from the smoke slathered on mice/ect is how they probably started much of the mj testing same as cigs) that you'll kill your chances to be a father.

    In fact it almost seeems I personally last longer an get off way better stoned senseless...lol not anywhere near blanks either
