Damaged plant need opinions

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Outdoors' started by PHATBUD$, Jan 9, 2020.

  1. So I had a nice organic glue cookies plant and had some nasty winds which blew it over and is currently looking very lop sided and sad. I have now moved it and am unable to stand it up straight due to security reasons. I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions of what I should do or I should just pull them out.

    Any help would be appreciated

  2. Is the stem broken, cracked, or just bent over? If it’s just bent over you can either leave it or stake it up with bamboo. If it’s broken or cracked ya wanna do ur best to repair it ASAP.

  3. tape it back up and insert a bamboo rod to keep it up...smear honey on any wounds and smooth out the kinks..
    is what I'd do

but its also a great time to take clones as we just pass the solstice?

    good luck

ps I'd paint that green wall matt/flat white to get in more light ..lol

  4. Thanks for the replies, it's the actually base that's bent.. . Roots and all, so its a bit damaged but doing alright. I don't really want to stake it back up because it will probably grow to high and I don't want to any attention. Do yous think it will still produce alright buds? It's stunted but looks reasonable healthy

  5. Also alot of branches are bent and I had to take 1 or 2 off so im not sure if the plant is worth it, my other 2 are LST'd and looking real good

  6. Cover any exposed roots and feed the plant some nutrients

  7. One of them is a G13 purp haze and I had 2 main colas and the wind split it straight in half which I did tape up and doesn't seem to be dying in the past day. Will it still grow nice buds ?

  8. Thanks for the help, will do that this arvo, it is my only organic one so I can only give it a aloe and kelp ferment that I have.
Hopefully that will do the job :D

  9. I’m not to shore if this is true but I’m pretty shore once the stunt stops because it’s bent out wouldn’t it be like a LST(low stress training) so shouldn’t it produce more buds. Like I said I’m not to shore if true you would need others to confirm it

  10. guess the wind wanted to do some HST for ya.. my dogs had same idea for my personal crop last year. tape, stakes, aloe vera, honey, a few tears and i still managed a reasonable harvest.
