Damaged a growing bud

    Damaged a small bud on the plant on accident. I am unconcerned of the bud as it is so small, just curious how the plant will respond - will the bud recover or will it just not develop / die off?

    Living things repair when they can and discard for the good of the whole if damage is too severe.
