Daft Punk or Pink Floyd?

    Tomorrow I'm heading to a laser show w/ a chica bonita and have the option to go to either daft punk or pink floyd's dark side of the moon show.

    To be honest Daft Punk kicks ass, probably one of my favorite groups of all time. Pink Floyd I haven't listened to much but people enjoy their music.

    What is GC's opinion?

    Pink Floyd is the obvious choice, but if you aren't into them might as well just go see Daft Punk

    Pink Floyd. Daft Punk is one of my favorite groups of all time but I'd go to the Pink Floyd one first.

    Me personally, Pink Floyd. But if you don't have a chance to see Daft Punk again soon, I would see them if you like them more.

    Haha sold on PF can't wait to see it :) Should I be burned for not having heard the whole thing in its entirety?

    Floyd. Hands down. Laser Floyd shows are just fucking amazing.

    And it's Dark Side, this question shouldn't even be asked!:eek:

    I had the honor of seeing Pink Floyd years back and Roger Waters: The Wall a while back ago ;)

    If you go, choose Pink Floyd...and maybe you should visit your friend Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds before you do. :)

    haha definitely Pink Floyd man. I saw the laser show a few years ago, and it was sweet as hell. If they sell 3D glasses there buy some. they make it ten times crazier.

    How have you not listened to Darkside in its entirety? Seems like something you'd have to make an effort to avoid happening at least once in your life.

    Thats like picking between two gods.
    Both of them are in my top 25 listened to on lastfm.
    Pink floyd at 17 and daft punk at 13

    Literally the god of electronic music & the god of experimental music.

    Pink floyd would be awesome to burn a couple blunts ta.
    Daft punk would be awesome under the influence of other substances.

    I really wouldnt be able to make such a decision under my current sober state.
    I would need to smoke a blunt and really ponder this for an hour or so.

    Though this is from "The Wall", it is a great video compilation of all the parts of the movie played to "Comfortably Numb".

    Just powerful. Brings tears to my eyes. Makes me reflect on my own life, the lives of my friends, and on my friends who have passed away.
