I got suspended for 5 days the beginning of this school year because i smoked before a school marching band practice and the friend i was with admitted to it after being accused by the band teacher who is also his dad. Anyway my dad was furious with me and said if it happens again I will end up in a hospital because he'll kick my ass. One year ago I found in our garage filing cabinet in the the top drawer some bud and a pipe in the way back I assumed it was my moms. But today when i was doing yard work with my dad he told me very specifically get some work gloves in the 3rd DRAWER and i already know where we keep the gloves so im wondering why hes being so specific. Me being an asshole when hes not around i check the top drawer and theres about 3.5g of bud with my dads basketball plays on top covering it (hes a coach). I confronted my mom and asked her if she owns a pipe or just rolls her bud and she said she never had one and just rolls it.(we are comfortable talking about bud) Now i know this is my dads stuff my sister knows it is too so what should i do? Should i pinch a little every now and then or tell my dad what i found and ask to toke it up with him?
It sounds like he was so mad because you smoked before a practice. He wants you to be responsible in the way you use your weed. I would be mad at my son if he did that too. Just know when the right time is, before something like that is not. You're friend sounds like a bitch though haha.
that doesn't make him a hypocrite at all. he's grown and probably has his shit together. you are young and have more important things to do besides smoke. not saying you shouldn't smoke but he isn't wrong for being mad at you for smoking.

He was probably furious with you because you were smoking weed before school, got caught, and suspended for it. Maybe he wouldn't mind the fact that you smoke, but expects you to (I know it sounds crazy but hear me out) act responsible about it. And no don't pinch his fucking weed. How is that going to make the situation any better? Then you're just being even more irresponsible with weed by stealing it from other people.
Hes not a hypocrite. You are the one that fucked up by smoking before school. Thats why he is fucking pissed. Smoke after school, on the weekends when you got your shit done and you arent fucking getting kicked out of school for it. At one point he will probably even smoke with you and get drunk and stoned with you. But you are obviously young and probably like 10th grade in high school. That is what happens. My dad was kind of like that until i was in my senior year and he blazed me out. My dad still gets mad at my younger brother though because he shouldnt be smoking at the time.

roll a join with his weed, and light it up infront of him. Then say "dad this is really go weed, were did you get this?" If he denies it show him his pipe. you may get your as kicked but hey he will know that you know.
Letting him know that you know is an easy way to let him know that you know. Letting him know that you know by stealing his weed and smoking it right in front of his face is a real easy way to act like a thieving asshole.
if my dad said he would put me in the hospital for smoking weed, i'd smoke his entire stash in front of his face the moment i found it
i get great grades in school and am in all accelerated classes possible for my grades i play sports also and yes thanks blades i understand stealing his weed is no good i guess i should just move on and let it be... and it wasnt before school it was before band practice which happened in august even before school started
You were still being irresponsible enough to get caught and get suspended over it. Of course he was pissed. Be responsible. Hold off and smoke after school, not before band practice or before school or whatever the fuck.
