Dad found out I smoke weed help.

    So I'm 18 living in England and working for my dad's electrical company, the other day both my parents found out I smoke weed, my dad is saying that I shouldn't smoke because if I get caught by the police I will get a criminal record and won't be able to go on certain jobs that require checks (The county I live in has a soft approach to weed and will pretty much just give you a warning I think.) He also says that I shouldn't smoke because if I get pulled over or ever end up in a accident the police will drug test me and take my license even if I havn't smoked that day. Can someone please help with what I can say to my dad to help him understand. I'm not sure if the police take your license or not if they find thc in your system so if someone could inform me of this as well would be helpful. Thanks.

    Seems like your parents took it maturely. If I was still living under their house, then I would respect their decision and wait till I moved out to start smoking again.

    It's nothing to do with me living with them, I don't smoke inside. It's about my dad's views on police and driving.

    It has everything to do with your dad's views, you're living in his house. Respect his wishes, or get your own place, that's the best and only advice you're going to get on the subject here.

    We don't allow threads / post like this, it makes it look like you're underage and not old enough to be a member here. If you don't want people to think that you're underage, don't make threads or posts like this.
