Dabbing Taste?

    I've been using pen for wax and still feeling it on my throat and makes me cough. If I use a dabbing rig, will it minimize the coughing, and will it taste better? thanks

    Wax always stings a little. But I can deffinetly say that after I dabbed out of a rig at a regular rate, dabs started not to hurt (unless they are fat)

    This^ it gets to the point where you don't even feel the inhale cuz you get used to it. Wax is smoother than flowers, unless you have shitty oil/wax

    I see, I'm only smoking for 3 months using a solo vaporizer, and smoking wax out of a pen paired with a bong. I guess It takes time to numb my throat to be not noticable. Reason I ask, I'm getting ready to buy a dabbing rig, hopefully better than using a pen.

    +Sadly, not the dab rig will not make it easier to hit, in fact it'll make it slightly harder.  BUT think about this, the amount that you put in your pen is the same as a dab hit.  What takes you 10-20 minutes to kill in a wax pen will go in about 3 seconds in a dab rig.  That concentration of medicine is intense.  As it should be.
     
    If you cough a lot, don't sweat it, just means it's working.

    Imo, the oil rig is less harsh. Of course, your average dab will be a much bigger amount than a pen hit. Taste is way better on the nail than the few different pens I've tried.

    Vape pens should be a fad in my opinion. Smoking wax out of a bong can not only be quite smooth (usually you would use a small bong with a honeycomb perc), but much more intense and flavorful. I was almost happy when my friend's wax pen broke and we went back to mainly herb.

    Yeah with the pen I put a little and I can't finish it in one seating, I figure with dabbing I can do one small hit and that's it. I don't want to spend the money for a rig and end up not liking it, I'll check my local shop, maybe they have something cheaper to start out with.
