Da Funk

    Does anyone else like some Funk music while tokin' up. I mean, I can't count the number of times I've gotten high and just blasted some Bootsy Collins, P-Funk, Larry Graham, Sly, etc. Anyone else?

    some p-funk does go well with some bud, i must say.

    Why yes it does! As does some Electric Wizard, especially Funeralopolis off of Dopethrone. That first riff that's like 4 minutes long I can listen to forever.

    But for real, funk is some of the dirtiest music out there. Some of my favorite funk albums are:

    Parliament - Mothership Connection, Lettuce - Live in Tokyo, Brecker Brothers - Heavy Metal Bebop, Fela Kuti - Shuffering and Shmiling, Ohio Players - Fire, The Philadelphia Experiment - self-titled, Funkadelic - One Nation Under a Groove, Sly & The Family Stone - Stand!, There's a Riot Goin' On!


    Hip hop wouldn't even exist if it wasn't for funk (and dub, respectively)

    the funk is about the size of a medicine ball....
