Hey I wondered if anyone has tried this out before, I was looking into getting it. It is a vape waterpipe that folds up into what looks like a coffee thermos. It has a ceramic bowl and then it goes through a tube and through the water. It looked pretty dope. \ I cant find any reviews or anything about it online. Seems pretty new. Anyone know anything about it. If not ill probably put up a good review tomorrow.
hey guys I just bought the dadong yesterday from my local headshop because I was looking for a plastic bong since my whole house is tile now. I was drawn to it because of the stealthy travel feature, we do a pretty big 420 canoe trip and with it right around the corner I just figured what the hell, I'll try it out. when I got home and unwrapped it is when I found the ceramic screen and cap and realized this is supposed to be some kind of vaporizer. I immediately tried it and was way disappointed ( I couldn't find much about it either at first) and took a long drawl with a regular big lighter and choked on nothing but butane and absolutely no smoke. After that I took the cap off and just smoked it like a regular combustion bowl and THAT worked just fine. Only thing I'm not excited about is the thumb carb. My personal preference is slide carbs but I knew that before I bought it. With that said the cap was still bugging me because I wanted to use it with more, or any, success. I just grabbed the smallest torch I have that I use to heat up a small glow rod for my hash pipe. I heated up the cap for about 5 to 10 seconds and the started to drawl in, while leaving the torch on it, and I did get a pretty nice vape toke. Down side to that is the herb definetly ended up combusting after 3 hits. I'm sure with more trial and error I could probably get another hit or 2 before combustion but then u have to let the ceramic cap cool down long enough to remove and repack the bowl. If u have dabbed off a ceramic nail u know that that doesn't happen very fast. All in all if u r purchasing it like I did, for a plastic and or portable bong, then I would recommend it. If ur trying to buy a vaporizer bong I would probably look at other options. I hope this helps!
Lol I saw this was a 5 yr old forum after I typed all that but was not about to let all that typing go to waste. Just retried the vaporizer cap and it did work better still using torch but I did not pre heat it as long. So the cap IS kinda neat. There are definetly better vaporizers on the market, but the fact that it is portable and a water pipe is pretty cool.
