D-dog's (small) indoor grow

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Indoors' started by D-Dog, Oct 21, 2006.

  1. Whats up city I am attempting to grow a little mary jane indoors. So far everything is going O.K.. I have two areas, one for vegg and one for flowering. In the future I plan to add another section. But for right now in the two sections that I have 4 plants still in the vegg. area on 24/0 lighting cycle, and 10 or 12 days ago I put my 5 others in the flowering section on the 12/12 lighting cycle. Two females have started to show pistils today, but I couldn't get my camera to get the pistils into the pics that I took. Well here are a few pics I took of my indoor grow. THESE ARE PICS FROM MY FLOWERING AREA...... I also need to know what you guys would do if you were me ?, Since I have allready had these 5 plants on 12/12 for 10 or 12 days should I still try and transplant'em because 2 pots contain 2 plants and I know they need to be in their own pot ? It's odd though because they have been treated the same all the way through and the one's that are 2 to a pot are doing better than the one that is in a pot to it's self, so I dunno. I also put these 5 into flowering after 2 and a half weeks vegg. . So let me know what you guys think and any advice will be appreciated, THANKS

  3. looks like some of those plants have issues. do have a fan in there blowing the air around? it also looks like your plants are touching the tubes. you can get them close, but they shouldn't be touching. tubes are o.k. to use but try and keep your plants as far away from the ends as possible. that's where the heat is highest.

  4. you really gotta keep to One plant a pot. Theres usualy going to be one dominant plant that will take most of the energy and all that mumbo jumbo, and who know's the female could get jipped out and you would never of known untill its to late :(

  5. Yes I have a fan in both areas. And in the vegg. area yea I know their not supposed to touch the tubes but I was out of town for two days and that's how it was today. I allways keep them between 1/2 inch to an inch away from the tubes at all times. Appreciate you loofing though dude. peace

  6. Yea that's what I know Jeffar420 ,so do you know if it is safe to transplant'em, even though I have allready had'em on 12/12 for a week and a half? I have to say though that the the 42 watt CFL's that I'm using have suprised me and I plan on buying more. All of my indoor plants that I have are around three and a half weeks old. Apreciate you checking it out dude. Peace

  7. I think one of your plants have nute burn...

  8. Dude, If you're talking about the top of any of my plants, they are burnt by the lights. I allways keep them only an inch from my plants at all times, and as I mentioned earlier in this thread I was out of town for two days without checking om them and moving them. They were all touching the lights when I got home, so a couple of my plats got burned a little. I was gone a little longer than planned. But appreciate you checking out my grow. You all I will be UPDATING my indoor groe on this same thread. But I'm gonna go ahead and transplant the ones that are two to a pot tonight, and make a few more adjustments. And maybe it will help out. In a day or two I'll post my adjustments in an update. Peace out

  9. Yeah you probably should transplant them now, It is gana effect your outcome pretty badly but It may turn out better then 2 plants in one pot.

Keep us updated and good luck

  10. Yea I'll do that. And today I also found out that the 2 pots that contain 2 plants each, they both have a male in each of them. Yep as usual the two biggest ones. I'll post some pics later. So, if I pull the two males, would I still need to transplant ? I wouldn't think so, but I dunno. Peace Out

  11. I just found out that the biggest plant I have (In the very second pic I put out) is a hermie(It is showing pistils and sacks). So I'm thinking if I put it in a secluded area under a light and collect some pollen from it I could pollinate a few of my outdoor branches and get some feminized seeds. What do you all think? Let me know. THANX

  12. Well im not sure if you still have to transplant, heres my crazy theory to all of this.. Those roots for one thing will be taking up a good ammount of space depending on how big the roots actualy got, but them being in there for long enough will rott the left over roots and could some how effect the living plants roots or start to rott away at her roots.

  13. heyy i found it, alright man whats your problem right now? Nice plants by the way....i am to a.d.d'ish right now so couldnt read much so dont know what the prob is..... i did read that u had a hermie problem though or something like that...you got a light leek at all? or huge temperature jumps? maybe even physical stress?

  14. oh, and jeffar420,
is that your plant in your icon pic? it reminds me of this one kids plant indicasativa420, it had some really nice lookin buds.

  15. O. K. you all, I back to update this thread, and will be doing so alott from now until harvest. I had a few problems around my house so I was unable to worry with my indoor grow that much for the last week or so. But my biggest plants were all hermi And there is no way passible of light leaks, I have blankets on all the doors of each closet(I'm well equiped for light leaks (lol)).So basicly as of right now no females have shown sex. But it may be a while for some of them to show sex becauseI had to start with some fresh plants out of my vegg. area, Yea only one out the five that I had in my flowering area was not hermie or male, but it hasn't shown sex yet but I figure that it's a female because it's short and it would be the last to show sex. Well here are some UPDATE pics, the first pic is the plant left from my first attempt that allmost all were hermies, so it should be showing sex first out of this bunch. And the rest are the newbies to 12/12.I hope they are more females this time around............

  16. hey d, i'm kind of confused. you say your plants hermied. so you had females and they turned into hermies. i don't understand how you could tell so quickly. you're right about females usually showing last. if you have all hermies then just keep growing. so your weed has seeds. it;ll still be great smoke.

  17. I dunno what you are asking really, but the first batch (5 plants) of plants that I put into my flowering area, 4 out of 5 showed pistils and sacs. So I still have the one that diddn't show sex yet in my flowering area (in the first very first pic i just put up), and 3 new plants that I just put into my flowering area from my vegg. area. Maybe this helped some. peace

  18. Nope, just a plant worthy of an avatar. I wish this was my plant. I beleive the strain was god bud or something crazy like that.

  19. I pulled up the hermies and now I'm on batch #2.

  20. Yep Yep, Jeffar420 I love the way that plant looks also, yum yum. Peace
