man that shit reallly pisses me off...the whole time they use big big words and basically say nothing but BS...marijuana isn't a fucking hallucinogenic omfg.....those are the only ppl i hate in this world....corrupting ppl.....and what they said about the "long effects" of mj will equal the amount of tobacco? BS why? because cigs are fucking addicting and shit if you eat healthy you woudln't have immune system problems....dear god that pisses me the fuck off...i gotta go to class.....peace

 

Uhhmm.. Idon't know what pot you are smoking..but the pot around here is a hallucinogen. Just not a stron gone. It's not like LSD.. but it does make colors brighter, and sometimes makes some closed eye visuals.

 

well on a technical stand point...i believe it only make your sense "acute" and more intense.....they atleast should have said certain strains may cause slight hallucinogens....(sp?)

but yeah mixing it with OTHER drugs will of course will yield a different "high" or "trip" results....well thats my 5 cents

 

For me weed is a very minor hallucinogen, but I don't like trip out... But if I stare at something for a really long time and think about what else it could be I can sometimes see it as something else... I think what happens is I just go cross eyed and then it appears different? Either way it's pretty cool haha

 

Wow...my kid graduated from the DARE program through his elementary school...and, I smoke pot for medicinal purposes *and for fun too!*. Anyway, DARE is just another waste of our tax money and the governments way to attempt to engage our children in yet another "war". The reason I let my kid sign up is so he could get to go to summer camp for free. My son told me that he learned nothing from DARE that he didn't already know. But, he also said he loved going swimming in the camp's pool...

Weed can be really hallucinagenic. My brother had a sess. with his friends 4 ft. bong, and he said he was just sitting in his car afterwards for about an hour, couldn't move, and kept looking at trees and saw that they kept turning into tree monsters with faces and shit.

weed doesnt make you hallucienate(sp) and ive actually found alot of my friends and even my sister just lie and say there tripping out because the actual "trip" is very dosile and calm. not exciting at all the explain to somone now is it? ive also noticed how people think they know everything about weed and explain it to people all the time there around... lol know anyone like this? weed is a neat drug with alot of good and bad and as long as you watch the bad your fine

Marijuana FAILED TO MEET FDA CRITERIA, yet oxycontin did. What does that prove? That the FDA is fallable, and a complete waste of money. There is no safe drug, ask any pharmacist, DIFFERENT PEOPLE REACT DIFFERENT WAYS TO DIFFERENT DRUGS!!

But they're asking for marijuana for terminally ill patients. Don't you think these patients deserve to be relieved from their suffering?

Several of the cannabinoids have, NOT ALL! Furthermore drugs such as Oxycontin have been produced that were FAR MORE HARMFULL THAN MARIJUANA. Need I remind you of Vioxx? Furthermore how can you call marijuana unsafe when there has not been 1 recorded death attributed to it?

Yes there are good doctors, the good doctors are the ones who honestly and whole heartedly try to do what's best for their patient. By not tying them down with the chains of bureucracy. By not telling them "yeah there's this plant that would make you feel a lot better, would cost less than a quarter of prescription drugs, but since the FDA, and ultamitly the government can't make money off of it, I'm going to prescribe you a couple different prescription medicines that will cost 5 times as much."

And give me a break with the supplemental oxygen fire hazard bullshit. simply having 5% more oxygen in the air makes humans prone to spontaneous combustion. I'm not buying that marijuana is illegal because people with supplemental oxygen might blow something up..

Words can't even describe the boiling of my blood right now, after reading that, what makes it worse is there'es basically nothing we can do about it, we can't organize a debate against D.A.R.E , there is no way to get our voices heard loud enough, theres always stubborn people to resistant to change, with ideas hammered into their heads from douchebags like this, that person probably learned everything he/she is spitting out from D.A.R.E classes back when they were little kids, everyone seems to quaintly and conveniently forget "Reefer Madness" a movie put out in the government in the 50's that made the most ridiculous claims and falsities about the marijuana, yep the governemnt put it out, its never mentioned now because its obviously absurd, incorrect, and just plain idiotic, hopefully in 10-15 years we'll be lookin back at all these anti-marijuana activists who claim their are no medicinal values of marijuana, that marijuana is dangerous, and not even mention them because those ideas are so absurd, incorrect, and just plain idiotic, hindsight is 20/20, maybe we should apply that perfect vision to the future
