I have a lovely 2 mother plants and they are 2 weeks into 12/12 in hydro under a 600w sodium light. I want to take some cuttings for my next grow straight after this one has flowered. I know i will have to wait 6 weeks plus till these are ready to cut and dry but my question is as i only have 1 room and one light if i take my cuttings what lighting do you recomend that i can keep them on until i can harvest what i have now and start up my system to 18/6 again.? Wll i be able to keep them in a propergator or will i have to put them 18/6 when they have estabilished a rooting system. Or should i wait until my crop at the moment is nearer to croping before i take the cuttings?
Any flourescent light will keep them growing just fine. Remember your 2 weeks into flowering, taking cuttings now is kind of late but it will still work, you will get funky one blade leafs for a while until it fully reverts back to vegative state. No you cannot wait until your about to harvest, clones are to be taken when still in veg state not in flowering... but its still early enough to take some of the very lower branches that dont have any or not much bud on them to clone from.
