i took some cutings ten day ago and was looking a bit unheathly some i thought i would check to see if there is any roots but there's nothing so why would this happen? the other two still look ok but i have them in clear pot and i can't see any roots either?
did you plant them in soil immediately? are they getting alot of light? put them in a cup of water? cut the stems under water? use any rooting hormones? use a humidity dome etc? these are things you will read about if you search for clone/cloning on this forum
ok i took the cuttings off the plant then staight in the a jug of water. i cut the cutting at 45 degree's and cut a bit of the skin of the bottom as well. then dripped in to clonex rooting hormone then in to soil nice and damp. i'm using a a top half of a bottle as a dome. what did i do wrong?
if the other 2 are doing fine then that one might just not make it. clones don't alwase live but you are doing everything right so jsut keep it up mabey it will root.
it's been nearly two weeks now and i just gave the cuttings a little pull to see if they have rooted and they seem to be stuck in there so i'm a bit happier now. but one of the cuttings has some bud on it and the bud has started to go mouldy. what should i do about the mould will it kill the little fella? thanks allan
