Cutting off seed pods to keep males and females together?

    so my plants are 3 weeks into flowering now and i can tell the males from the females. I have 5 plants 2 male 2 female and 1 im not sure about. I was wondering if i could keep the males and females together if i just cut the seed pods off the male plants before they are ready to pollinate? And don't lecture me on how males are useless, I'm very aware of that :)

    Males don't have seed pods, they've got wee flowers that spray pollen all over your ladies. If you're very aware the males are useless, why do you want to keep them? I'm failing to understand why you haven't already killed them.

    Well then will cutting off the flowers mean i can keep them together? And I'm keeping them because I have a friend who wants some males in a month or two, but until then i dont want to have to set up a new grow room.

    Put it in the backyard?

    you could try taking clones of the male plants, then if they root, kill off the big plants. the clones will take up much less room.
