Cutting down on smoking

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by kiefsmoker420, Nov 29, 2011.

  1. Hey blades I told my brother I smoked once a month and I usually smoke all on the weekends and I decided to only smoke once a month because I noticed it cut into my other activities just wondering eat u guys think about this

  2. I smoke daily, multiple times a day
I still get my stuff done,
    Maintain good grades.

  3. i was literally about to write a thread about this since me and my girl want to try and get an apartment within the next year. i spend at least a hundred bucks on bud a week so in order to start saving money and shit i need to cut back to no more than an eighth a week. my plan is to get an MFLB and strictly vape during the week and hit the bong during the weekend when im kickin back or if i really have nothing to do during the week. hopefully when i move out ill get a a nice micro grow goin:hello::smoke:

  4. Like anything in life too much one thing isn't good for you. Cutting back or stopping is a great idea. You will appreciate and enjoy it much more the few times you get to smoke rather than doing it everyday or week. Also psychedelic properties are strongest and felt most when there is zero tolerance.

  5. If it is messing with your life then don't do it. Whatever feels right too you OP you don't need opinions on this matter.. it wont make you less cool.

  6. Yeah man, it's up to you. I think it's good to take a little time off or cut back every once in awhile anyway, it really helps you get your shit together. It makes it so much sweeter when and if you decide to come back to smoking. It's good to take a step back and make sure your life is going where you want it to.

  7. I have been killing a half every 3-4 days. Sometimes more the past month. I must stop today. Im already 3 bowls & 2 1.1g blunts to my face in. Few more bowls & thats it.

  8. I was smoking halves of dank (150-200) every two and a half weeks then I cut down to a quarter (95) a week. Then I had to cut down to an 8th (45) a week and that's where I'm at now.

It was going well but my birthdays next week and I'll have money again so I'll probably cop a quarter and some hash from the disp and that should do me good for a while.

  9. Cut down if you want. People deal with marijuana differently so it doesn't mean anything if you cut down on smoking. Nobody will think less of you or anything like that. Don't feel like you have to smoke a lot to impress people or anything. Good luck.

I don't care how often others smoke but for me personally, once a month is the perfect amount and its something I've been trying to maintain for years. Smoking any more than this has proven to hurt my life by killing my ability to focus, motivation, and priorities. A month is the perfect amount to completely reset one's physical/mental tolerance so smoking once a month guarantees a consistent virgin level high every time.

My problem is that after a month break, the high is so good that I can't control myself enough to immediately, completely stop for another solid month. What I'd really like to do is take an entire day once a month to use a combination of weed, tobacco, shrooms and adderall. But I've never had enough self control to make it happen. I think that getting close to academic probation after this semester will finally push me to do it but I don't know.

Both weed and shrooms are extremely beneficial in that they push the knowledge of guilt into my brain about things I never even realized I was doing wrong. They are obviously most beneficial when one's tolerance is at a virgin level, something that can't consistently be experienced without smoking once a month or less, imo. Besides tolerance, using these drugs once a month provides a solid month to take what the drugs have taught you and apply that information to your behavior. By not applying this information to your behavior or not giving yourself enough time to do so before the next drug experience, I find that there will be a lot of unnecessary negative energy that can potentially ruin your high/trip due to the knowledge/guilt of not doing so.

I think the key to enjoying both weed and shrooms is to contradictorily make sure that your intentions for using them are not for enjoyment. Your intentions should be based on the true benefit that they can provide.

  12. Good luck! You won't regret it if you make it happen but for me, it really is extremely hard to consistently accomplish. Just like with everything else, moderation is the key to maximizing enjoyment.

After becoming a smoker, I quickly noticed the obvious huge amount of daily smokers that lived normal lives and assumed I could handle daily smoking if they could. In reality, its just not for me and I can't handle it without it negatively affecting my life in some way. One reason is that I've never smoked a small amount and then stopped. I've only ever gotten as blitzkrieged as possible ever single time I smoked via a waterfall bong.
