Cutting Back On The Ganja

  1. Hey everyone, just a little background, I smoked everyday for about a year and a half, quit for 4 months just to clear my head, drop the tolerance, and sleep normal!. Over the summer i got back on my everyday routine and now schools starting up so i decided i wanted to cut it back to two three times a week. (Weekends) I quit for a week and got through the worst of the withdrawl (depression, fucked up sleeping cycle) and then did it with my buddies before they left for school for a proper send off. That was about 4 days ago, so 1 sesh in 12 days... not bad. Well my parents are leaving for a week, and my bros starting a new job, so i will have a lot of opportunity to binge. I so badly wanna pick up a quad and smoke out the whole week hahaha. But im worried if i do, ill slip right back into my daily routine and screw my sleep cycle up again. Think i should just hold off till the weekend and stick with my plan? Or do you think a weeklong blazefest would be easy to rebound from? Thanks in advance!
     
  2. If it's just your sleep cycle you're worried about, don't smoke at least 2 hours before bed. No worries.

    If you're worried about making it into a habit again, then only pick up an 8th, and smoke randomly. Don't get into a habit of it.
     

  3. So your saying just dont do it before bed?? you gotta be kidding me lol, if that was the case this whole time i feel like an idiot. Makes sense though, other than the sleep cycle deal i was a very high functioning stoner i.e. (Work, getting school work done)

  6. As long as you don't smoke 2 or 3 hours before you go to bed you should be fine. I know it works for me when I only have sativa dominant buds.
     
  7. Don't smoke Sativa dominant strains at night, if you're having trouble sleeping
    then smoke some dank indica, drink some hot tea, and you'll knock out in no time lol.
     
  8. This. If you smoke, then smoke atleast 2 hours before bed, so REM sleep can kick in like normal.
    And it's also about the strains you're smoking. You can also take Melatonine (don't know the english term :p) pills to help you sleep, and get the sleepcycle you want. Don't worry, it's all natural, look it up.

  9. smoking before bed can put you to sleep...but can make you mad sleepy the next day
     
  10. Smoking before bed helps me knock out. I don't really smoke pure sativas though. I can't really see a problem with smoking everyday except tolerance, or money.
