Cut off wilting Dahlia flowers?

    First time taking care of these gorgeous plants! But some of the older flowers are starting to wilt whilst newer nodes keep popping up. But should you cut the dying ones off right away or do they flower multiple times after shedding petals?

    I cut a few off and the other ones i just plucked clean to see what happens.

    I trim my deads thru out the season

    once fall sets in

    I'm told to let the 'spud' suck all the life outta the flowers

    once dead those flowers and leafes make a great mulch

    Allright thanks man! I'll go cut off the plucked ones too then :)
