Thanks so much man. It's not Alex Grey as far as I can tell, google says the image is from a metal band called Soen's album art. I can't seem to find the artist who actually created the image. The Alex Grey one looks like: http://youtu.be/djASjoGV6Kk Here is a water function video. Sorry for the poor quality was taken with my phone. I'll post a milk shot as soon as I can. Unfortunately I found out that I don't own a nail that is the correct size, but tomorrow i'm supposed to be getting a new one so hopefully then. Thanks everyone else for looking
Yeah I've seen that one before, but for a moment I thought it was some of his other work.. When you get that new nail, report back and let us know how you like it
So I finally got a nail that works and I must say i'm in love. Justin also asked me to do a review so here goes. Quality: The craftsmanship is near impeccable. All the glass is extremely thick and uniform. Bubbles don't exist. Everything appears to be near perfectly if not perfectly level. The base is very wide and offers very little fear of tipping. I feel comfortable setting it on top of my bed or on carpet without fear that it could fall over. The sand blasting is top notch and again nearly flawless. The amount of detail I feel is absolutely insane. Function: Again absolutely top notch. The double gridded donut provides stacks on stacks on stacks with such an effortless pull its unbelievable. All the double gridded donut holes fire off evenly and stack to the top of the can with minimal pull. The internal recycling is fantastic and functions flawlessly. It also offers a sweet whirlpool for you watch at the end of a hit. It also acts as the perfect splash guard no matter how hard I pull water never reaches the bent neck. Speaking of water I personally like to leave mine at about 2/3-3/4 thirds/quarters of an inch above the donut. I find that those to be the most comfortable recycling levels for my piece, any less and don't get the large whirlpool I enjoy. Again all personal preference and probably depends on the individual piece. The bent neck is very comfortable as well and allows me to easily just bend forward and hit. All in all I have to say this is the smoothest piece i've ever hit. The only thing i'll say to make sure your careful of is airflow if you go with a 14mm male joint,(Justin himself recommends a 14mm female joint and I just thought i'd leave this as a a warning for anyone insisting on male). I found a lot of nails completely blocked or narrowed the airflow enough that I couldn't function the piece to my liking. I found that the Highly Educated Dualiti nails work perfectly if anyone else runs into this issue. Ordering: I contacted him via e-mail and he responded pretty immediately. From there on he was always very concise as to what was and wasn't possible and how it would affect overall price. He always impressed me with his response time especially in light of the recent holiday. He kept me well informed of when my piece was ready and shipped. Payment was very simple as well. Only other thing I can think to review is the worked base which I could not be happier with. I think it looks awesome and I'm definitely biased but I think it's one of the cooler wig wags I've seen TL;DR: 9/10. 10's don't exist.Milk: http://youtu.be/vtanKylX2G0
