Current wait time on Colorado red card

    I have heard some crazy stories of the card taking 6-8 months to arrive, other say it has become a lot faster. I'm wondering, how long it has taken recent applicants to receive their cards. Any approximate time amount. The internet is very dated with the wait time information, and I would be very grateful to get a ball park figure. Thank you guys:smoking:

    I think if you are not rejected within 35 days, you can just use your recommendation.

    Last year, when I applied for my card, it took two weeks to get my card.

    3 1/2 weeks got it recently they passed a law in July saying u have to have your red card And Id to be in compliance

    Yeppers. When I went to my dispensary last week they said they now need to check your Red Card and your ID card every time you visit.

    I had to wait pretty much a whole month to get proof of residency, so I just sent my paper work last week, I have been without meds since then, and I have been a mess, the terrible back/neck pain I forgot I had is back and in full force. Everyday I check the mail in hopes of getting lucky.
    I called around a few dispensaries to see if there was some loop holes seeing as I had the recommendation for the 35 days, I was told to call around, some dispensaries "supposedly allow it after they speak the health dpt." after calling almost every dispensary in a 25 mile radius, which you denver peeps know is a long list, and still came up dry. I'm hoping I get this thing next week, I would love to sleep some time soon. It is times like these that really makes me angry at a government that is preventing me from having medications. I bet I can pick up a real toxic script legally from my doc and pick it up the same day, and start my night sweats, and hallucinations all over again . The government needs to get their head out of their asses, and start recognizing medical marijuana as what it is, and that's medicine! I don't care if you use it for a bad back or if you got a bad case of boredom, it is medicine and should be treated as such.
