curling leaves

  1. i dont really know if this is a problem yet or what. the fan leaves on my white widow plant are curling, but its only the one set of fan leaves. its like the inside edges of the leaves are curling under the leaf. the leaves have a nice healthy color to them and look fine besides this.

  2. mine did this too nothing happend haha i think that leaves turn all the time

  3. idk the more i look at it, it seems to be getting worse. any one got any ideas?!

  4. Do you have a light to the side that it could be turning towards? Other than that possibly overwatering?

  5. what are the temps during the day and during the nite?

  6. looks like to much nitrogen cut back on feeding

  7. the light is directly over it

temps during day are around 81 to 82 and at night its 66

i havent given it any nutrients at all yet

  8. and i am using miracle grow "moisture control" soil

  9. well since this is a mystery to everyone ill say what i think it was.
im pretty sure it just wast a bit of underwatering and stress from being topped. it has now stopped curling and hasn't spread to the other leaves. heres a pic of how much it ended up curling

  10. thats it

  11. ill say it again, i have given these plants absolutely NO NUTES this entire grow. i dont plan on doing that for a few weeks still. its not too much nitrogen.

  12. in that case its just genetic and nothing to worry about

  13. k thats what i thought, it was just that one set of fan leaves that did it. the rest look fine and so does the other plant

  14. Its the MG soil, use fox farm next time and you will have better results.

  15. really, i thought it wasnt the soil cause only one plant was doing this and i used the same soil on both plants. ill try foxfarm next time anyway
