Hey guys, so for awhile now my plant has been drooping/curling. I have no idea why. Any suggestions? I recently topped it too but it was curling/drooping before that.
Unfortunately, nature isn't perfect. Sometimes they grow that way and there's nothing you can do to save them. It's like a child born with a disease. Sorry!
Well temps I can't be forsure on as it's an outdoor grow, but I live in Woodland Hills, California and it doesn't get too cold. I use tap water to water my plants, I don't have a PH reader but will be picking on up soon. If it was a PH issues wouldn't my other plants be curling too? Thanks for the responses.
This morning I woke up and mine look very similar. Some have overnight grown orange spots. They are in a closet and I have fans on them but am thinking maybe they need some fresh air
looks like lock out of nutes,,,to much salt from the nutes either in the soil that youve potted in (you have not used MG soil have you) that just my opinion though,,,,,mac
No I haven't used MG. I didn't use the best soil, but I don't think it would be out of nutes already as it is time released and all my other plants seem to be doing fine. I'll picture the soil i used down below.
pH is very important man. Its how your plants grow in the soil on a molecular level. Speaking of soil, you never know what you're buying when you get that stuff. You can be buying diseases and a whole lot of other things that your plants really don't need which live in those soils. It appears overwatered, and it can be, but it also resembles nitrogen toxicity (possible since they're outside). That, plus your soil and the fact that you aren't balancing your pH are pretty major issues that are unknowns since the aren't being addressed on your part. Good luck dude, and try to water them a little less, just do be sure to rule out over-watering.
I know PH is important i just don't have a reader. I also don't think PH is the issue as my other plants seem to be doing fine(pictured below) It may be over watered but I don't think so because it follows the same schedule as my other plants and they seem to be flourishing. Nitrogen toxicity? Never heard of that, something I should go look up. My only thoughts so far is that plant is some how getting to much nutes, but I also have doubts again because this is my only plant doing this.
I personally think they look great... if the new foliage isn't effected then I wouldn't worry a bit. Just keep them in a sunny spot, and keep watering them every 3-4 days. You'll be good.
---------------- --------- yep thats what i was thinking when i saw them pictures,,,some plants will/do look a bit off for a few weeks then just grow out of it ok,,probably just wanted to get used to that soil,it may have had a touch to much nutes in it to start off with ,now the plants are growing they look fine,,,mac
Yeah thanks guys my off one just seems to be growing slower than usual but doesn't really seem to be dying, it's just being retarded lol,
----------------- well keep an eye on that off one,it could turn out the best plant there,,,,,,could be a killer stone,,,,,,mac
