Curled up tips. Are my plants getting eaten??

    Hey guys. Had this baby for about 7-8 weeks now. Growing outside with about 10hrs pure sunlight. Havent been giving it any nutrients. Just plan tap water and some ash as a natural fertilizer.

    It has been showing curled up leaves on the tips lately and that got me worrying.     Up until now, I started realizing that some of the leave stems are being eaten. Literally looks like someone is munching on the stems and they die of. Honestly, I think my plant has slowed down in growing, as i dont not see much progress for now.
    Please help) and suggest

    To compare with, I have 2 plants, the bug one is has less color in it, but the smaller one is solid dark green, growing well at the moment.
