  1. im wandering if cured buds, even those cured for just a week or so, change in their appeareance somehow? when i first cut this plant, the buds were reallly light and green, and now after curing for a few goods days, they are darker and not as green, still gren of course just a darker hue. also, does the smell change due to curing? thanks alot

PS - to cure, to be sure im doing it right, after buds are dry, put them in a sealed glass container. Every day let them breathe for about 10 minutes and after a few days start to lengthen the time in between each breathing sesssion. sounds alright?

  2. Different strains can react differently but yeah the color tends to change a bit. The smell can change very little or it can change quite drastically. There is usually a noticeable improvement in potency also. Some strains won't reach their peak until a month or more of curing.

Sounds like you are on the right track in your curing. The trick is not letting it dry out too quickly while at the same time not letting excess moisture cause mold. After 2-3 weeks you really shouldn't have to air out the jars much if any.
