im groing some bomb outdoors and there was a storm and a couple branches fell off. there were some decent size uds so i decided to trim them and dry them. im pretty sure i dried the too fast cus im curing the buds but there smelling like grass when i burb the jars. if i break a nug in half though it smells dank like it did on the plant. im just wondering if i keep curing it will the bud eventually get that dank smell?
If you didn't think you dried it properly, I wouldn't cure it yet unless you want mold. Take them out of the jars and hang em back up for a few days until the stems can easily snap.
i concur with jmj. the grass smell is more then likely the chlorophyll that is being eliminated from the buds. keep drying until you get the snap. then place in jars loosely. you should be good from there on out. keep us posted how it comes out, i would love to see pics of your finished product.
If it isn´t dried properly you will smell ammonia when you try to cure it. Spoilt bud if that happens.
