Alright, well what is the proper ideal length for curing your buds and what is the average length most people do? Some people growers cure for a few months. Like 2 months and 6 months. Isn't 2 weeks sufficient? Like how are the buds after they are cured for that long? I'd imagine they'd be pretty dry and with no stickiness. So for that reason I say 2 week cure maximum.
They should be dry before start of curing, in the step called...drying. Different from curing. If I were to guesstimate I would say that about 50% of the full benefit of curing comes during the first two weeks, about 30% of the benefit comes in the second two weeks, and 20% comes thereafter. That's just what it feels like to me, I don't know that anyone has ever measured it. I treat curing and storing as pretty much the same thing. In other words, I cure with the daily venting of the jars for about 30 days, and thereafter storage of the bud remains in those same jars, and I vent them whenever I remember, a few times a week for continual curing. And it's fine to pinch from day 1 of curing for daily smoke, just might be harsh.
