Yeah it sort of plays like that. Its basically the same style as quake and unreal tournament and games like that.. but i like it even more
if youve only played military fps games youre missing out on the majority of the good FPS titles. Realism is boring, and something that the genre needs to move away from as much as possible. this game looks exactly like quake 3. im downloading. my handle will be maxnormal
well i gave it a try. its like a bad version of quake 3. The maps are cool but really dont seem to work well with the gameplay. doors are too small, rooms too tight/roofs so low that you cant jump full height.. almost all of the populated servers are instagib games too which is a bummer my first game i joined late and ended up leading everyone in frags by at least 60. got 95 frags in my first game lol.
I've got a decent game shortage at the moment so what unrealistic FPSs would you recommend? PC or 360, they're both good.

Maybe it's just cause I'm a hardcore BC2 player but I look at vids of games like this and just go... WTF. I never could keep up in Quake or UT.
dont get discouraged when you play tribes (play on the goon haven server) almost everyone who plays has played for over a decade, so expect to get owned for awhile. just try to figure out how to jetpack and ski (hold space going down slopes to "ski". ski down slopes to gain speed and jetpack when you go uphill) and practice with the disc launcher if anyone gets on tribes let me know. ill walk you through the basics also this game isnt an FPS, but its still awesome [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nfw3aml0Sss[/ame]
you could if you practice. theres a steeper learning curve to these games than to military fps. theres a much wider range in skill between good and bad players.

I like it more then quake live Maybe its just because im a beast at this game, quake live has more skilled players. I play this game with friends, so its a damn blast. Theres a shit ton of custom maps so you just probably joined a bad custom map. I <3 instagib though so yeah nothing to say there Yeah i feel you though, people like you and me who are used to these types of FPS just join the game and dominate most people haha

yeah you played a shitty map You should have seen me when I was stoned my first game. Really the key is like not thinking lmfao, i would just shoot and I seriously never missed a shot. I would miss like 5 or so shots per game, just hopping around dominating kids. It was like a massacre Most of the other maps are great though, more quake style perfect for the gameplay.
