I need to make a crude cannabis oil in kilo volumes. ~30-50% works and anything can end up in oil as I can filter out all plant material and non-cannabinoid material in second and third step. Hitch... has to be solvent-less or close to it... was thinking of diluting ethanol in olive oil.... agitating for a day or days or a week... will that release enough of the THC into the suspension? To get to 30%?
Oil doesn't pick up cannabinoids very well, compared to alcohol, so I wouldn't mix them. You should be able to make plain everclear tincture, evaporate/boil off all the alcohol to make FECO, and then add it to oil or anything.
If you want no solvent involved, you have to use physical agitation. Ethanol and cooking oil are still solvents - they're dissolving the resin of the plant.
