Crohns Disease

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by PriMo XVII, Nov 14, 2011.

  1. I stopped smoking weed last semester and was diagnosed with Crohns in july. The reason I quit was because I'm planning on being a pilot. Anyway, I recently started looking up stuff on weed and Crohns and read that weed helps a lot.

Anyone know anything about weed helping Crohns? Any people with Crohns disease here?

  2. Since I have started smoking I haven't taken any prescription meds for my Crohn's. Plus weed helps me sleep and eat more so I would recommend smoking. It helps a lot.

  3. I myself do not have chron's but I know for a fact many people with crohns find cannabis relieves their symptoms better than alot if not any other medications.

  4. Thought I'd pull up Granny's MMJ List for this one. Making her job a little bit easier :D
Well links are messed up, but heres the link if you want the info. http://forum.grasscity.com/medical-marijuana/645925-grannys-mmj-list-july-2010-a.html

  5. Poke around the medical forum for a while. Use the search function. I've seen a a few threads posted on that board about crohn's, and mmj. Also, stickied at the top of the medical forum is grannystormcrow's mmj list. Click on it, and scroll down to the C's. You'll find a few medical mj studies about Crohn's there.

  6. Well I have already read studies that say Crohns helps, and it's looking good, I want to try it now that I have Crohns.

I was looking more for people who have crohns and smoke, or people who know people who have crohns and smoke telling me about it, personally.

  7. I have crohns And have had 4 surgeries. The stuff really helps with nausea and appetite. One major area it helps with is cramping. It really helps relax the muscles. I for one find it very helpful. The issue I have now is that my mom, dad, and grandfather have all passed away and they were my suppliers. Not like you can just ask someone randomly if they smoke.

Good luck. I hope everything works out for you. I've had it for 21 years so if you have any questions feel free to ask.

    Take care!
