crispy leaves curling up?

Discussion in 'Sick Plants and Problems' started by electric-monk, Oct 2, 2007.

  1. just into my second month of growing, recently dealt with some pH issues. the pH of my run off was too low.

some of the leaves on my plant are starting to curl up and are getting dry and crispy. they seem to have spots on them as well. the sticky guide said this might be Magnesium deficiency..

    whats every one else think?

  2. hmmm what nutes are you using and how much? could be nute burn?

  3. miracke grow all purpose ( 8-7-6) at no more then 50%

  4. looks like nute burn

id also suggest you do a runoff test , unless you ph corrected the nutes you may have an acidic condition, some MG ferts are very scidic

complete a soil runoff PH test.......
with PH corrected water (6.5-6.8PH ) pour enough water in the pots so the water runs out the bottom of the pot ...collect & test the PH of this runoff water....post both the watering going in the pots and the runoff ph
