  1. Hello blades
I whipped this bad boy up in about an hour during my lunch. (I have an hour and a half so I decided to do homework instead of walking/driving around) I turned it in today and decided to share it with you all. This is about my 3rd assignment in my class and I will be sure to add some more stories if you guys are interested. :hello:
    Enjoy :smoke:

Note: If anyone knows how to get this into paragraph form, please let me know. I tried in the indent button and it did nothing and using tab doesn't do anything.

“Where were you last night? We missed you.” Rob asked in a worried voice. “I had business to attend to.” He replied in a low tone. “You always use that excuse…” says Andrew. “It's my business and I'm the one that has to deal with it.” says Seth angrily. “I don't have to deal with this; I have enough to worry about.” Seth says and he walks out of the restaurant into the cold frigid weather. He jumps into his Buick century and drives off.

“I'm worried about him; he never seems to hang around us anymore.” Tommy says. “He always has “business” to do; he never has time for us anymore. This is getting out of hand.” He says standing up from the table. “We need to get him to stop; he's going to end up ruining his life over something so stupid… We need to formulate a plan.” Says rob as he hold the door open for Andrew and Tommy. “Lets meet at my house tomorrow and we will figure out what Seth is up to. We have to find out why he keeps acting like this.” Rob states. “Everyone meet at my house tomorrow at around 7 and we will figure out the game plan.” “Sounds good to me.” Replies Tommy. “I'm not so sure about this, we shouldn't get into Seth's business.” Says Andrew sheepishly. “If you don't want to come, then don't. Nobody is making you do anything Andrew.” Barks Rob as they huddle in a circle by their cars. “Rob, you need to calm down. You always take things so serious.” Replies Andrew. “7 pm, tomorrow.” Rob yells as he jumps into his blue sports car. Andrew looks at Tommy and shakes his head. “I'm not so sure about this.” He says. “Just go with it.” Replies Tommy.
The next day at school Andrew couldn't focus. He was constantly thinking about Seth and what he was up to. Why was he acting like this? What is he hiding? Seth had always been his best friend but lately he was acting different. He would never hang out with anyone and would always shelter himself from the group. Andrew got off of school and headed home to eat before going to Rob's house. 7 o'clock rolls around and he heads to Rob's house. He pulls into the driveway and rushes inside. It's a blizzard outside. He sets his coat down, greets Rob's parents and heads downstairs. Rob is on his Xbox, talking smack to everyone online. Andrew grabs the second controller and joins in. “When is Tommy supposed to be here? It's already 7:15.” Andrew asks. “He said he was going over to Danielle's house, so I'm sure he will be late.” Replies Rob. “Figures…” Andrew says under his breath. Tommy finally shows up at 7:45. “Sorry I'm late guys, I was with Danielle.” Says Tommy on his way in. “What where you guys doing?” Says Rob with a laugh. “Well I need to keep this school appropriate, so we where “watching a movie”, if you know what I mean.” Says Tommy with a laugh. “I gotcha.” Rob replies. The guys finished up their game of search and destroy and headed out. “Well just take my car.” Says Andrew.

They pull up to Seth's house and park a few houses away. “It's snowing sideways!” yells Tommy. “I know, we have to make this quick.” Says Andrew. They all jump out and make their way to Seth's house. They ring the door bell, no answer. “Figures he wouldn't come to the door.” Rob in a grumpy voice. “Calm down Rob, he may not even be here.” Says Andrew. “Let's try to get on the door and look in his window.” Say Tommy with a laugh. “That sounds like a great idea!” Says Rob. “I was just kidding…” says Tommy in a worried voice. “I'm not.” Says rob with a grin. “Andrew, scale the fence and try to get on the roof. Tell us if you can see him in there.” Rob Orders. “This isn't a good idea.” Says Andrew in a worried voice. “Quit being a little girl, just get up there and do it.” Says Rob in an angry voice. Andrew jumps up and gets on top of the fence. He gets both feet on the roof. “Just look in his window?” Andrew shouts. “Yea, look and see if he's in there and then get back down here.” Rob replies. The roof is covered in ice. Andrew attempts to get over the ice to Seth's window, he makes it. “That ice is so slippery; I could barely stay on the roof.” Andrew shouts to Rob and Tommy below. He takes a look into Seth's window, he isn't in there. Andrew starts to head back. “See I told you Rob, he isn't even ho-“Andrew slips on the ice and falls off the roof. He hits his head hard on the concrete and Tommy and Rob rush to make sure he is okay. “Try to stay awake; the ambulance is on the way.” Tommy cries. The last thing Andrew saw was his friend Seth's face as he drove up the driveway. He drifts into darkness.

  2. I'd expand on the last few sentences. Make the process of drifting into darkness more profound, try to make the words come out of the text and grab the reader with icy black tendrils, causing them to relate more to the loss of consciousness at the end. Maybe describe in detail the few moments of Andrew's descent. The more you can describe in detail the little expanses of time, the more gripping this story will get. I'd be interested to read more.

  3. Thanks for the tips.
I just whipped this up really quick, nothing to serious. I have 100% in the class and I'm pretty sure the teacher loves me. :D
