  1. Has anyone used the infusion methods listed in the book, Ganja Kitchen Revolution?
     
  2. I don't have the book. Since I learned how to make a solvent transfer with tincture or bho this year I haven't looked for any other infusion methods. I'm interested, but not enough to buy the book. Is there a particular method you're thinking about? Could you share the details?

Well, I've been making my trim based cannabutter with that 48hr crockpot simmer, however, the book describes pan methods for coconut oil and butter infusions that only cook on the stovetop for an hour on low. It touts that this is a superior method and that dark green butter is simply full of chlorophyll and 6 hours or more is overkill producing an unfavorable taste. Their cannabutter method is similar and results in clarified butter that is a creamy yellow product with a slight green hue. They also advice that trim infusions are an inferior product. Personally I'm very pleased with my results and surprised they don't support using as much of the plant as possible-"waste not, want not", I say.

  4. Btw, love BHO but have heard too many stories warning of the dangers involved in the process. A dispensary is coming to the area soon, but I'm skeptical as to whether they'll be supplying oil in its raw state. Most in the east only sell the disposable pens which are crap in my opinion

    Had enough decarbed hash on hand so I got 2 rounds of oil started..
    5 grams kief-hash decarbed.. Decarb = ( 40 to 60 minutes at 220-240 degrees covered dish, Foil pouch, Oven cooking bag)
    3 tea spoons coconut oil
    1/2 tea spoon soy lecithin..
    Blend and heat 20 minutes @ 220 degrees then freeze.. 2 or 3 more heat and freeze cycles will change more of the THC to lesser cannabinoids and bring up more couch lock sleep aid then a single heat and freeze will..

    This can be done with trim or bud at a far lower strength.. I use high grade bud stripped with dry ice to 160 micron kief-hash
