    My bud looks super dank but I could never get a good shot because I have a stupid camera phone. What can I do to make the bud look as good as it does in real life. Can't buy a premium camera so that's definitely outta the question

    good lighting can do wonders for photography. put it under your lamp or use a flashlight to spot light it.

    "Free" editing software may do the trick!
    Check to see if your camera has a focus option (on my phone (touchscreen), you can tap on what you want the camera to focus on; your phone may have that as well if it is touchscreen)

    It's called "Macro Photography". You must a have a camera that has a macro feature, which allows the camera to focus with in a very close proximity of the object you're trying to take a picture of. Also lighting is a must for this type of photography. This isn't necessarily a macro shot, but it's a close up of a dying plant taken on a 1978 Konica Autoreflex TC film camera of mine.

    A higher megapixel camera... digital cameras are cheap nowadays. But if that is completely out of the question for one reason or another, natural lighting is the best when you have to use a cell phone. You can fuck with different focus/using the flash and some will come out nice, but it can be frustrating.
