i know, im sure some of the great minds here on gc could come up with a do it yourself. even less than $1000 would be better than that lol. idk why its so pricy. probably grows good tho. imagine during flowering. a huge tube of nothing but straight bud.
ive read their not so good for growing MJ, but i cant remember the problems people ran into using it, seems like it would be good, but so pricey!
I think some of the problems was height and spacing issues. I bet if some stoner really tried they could make one way better for MJ.
