So idk if anyone has heard but I have a friend in Illinois who was excited about getting a specific strain to grow. Dispensary tells them that it is going to be $250 per clone wtf is wrong with the state.

I remember when wedding cake first came out people acted like it was gold and were trying to sell it for $150 a clone in socal imo if you pay that kind of money it's because yo want to be the first to have something .... eventually it goes every where and it's $10 clones in less than a year
250 would not be that bad if you were 100 % sure that clone would produce grade a bud . you could use it as a mother plant have the very best . it be a slam dunk. but real work situations its not going to be the best more likely far from that . some green grower could be many stages away from the actual seed . if it were a great clone it be hatched from the seed . likely your getting 3 or 4 generations from the seed total trash very typical of a dispo . why i suggest never buy clones you will get some herm or washed out genetics going wild . they always look great in veg
I know that some stuff there will be inhouse breads like alien orange candy from revolution and mag 91 from gold leaf. no where near worth those prices when alot of the weed the dispensaries care is ethos and other boutique breeders, strains such as purple punch and pillow factory. Thanks for (helping the medical patients out) so if they have a start like me then it will only take about 500-750 to get started after equipment. Lol what a joke
Funny when things 1st come out and they charge outrageous prices. I remember when cannabis 1st became legal for rec users here in Oregon I use to see grams of shatter for 70$ few years later ya can find a gram for 6$.
Well that's the thing idk how much more they can drive the price up on rec. Its allready 420 for an oz (premium they call it.hahaha) and 160 for a half of popcorn. Carts run about 65 a half g, and concentrates are around 50 for wax and 75 for nug run shatters
Maybe he meant $25. $250 is absurd. I get area rare clones like the The Bling from happy dream farms in Humboldt county for like $20.
The Bling isn’t really rare when Humboldt Seed Company is selling seeds of it everywhere. It’s just a newer strain.
I went to ISU from 12-16 and still keep in contact with a bunch of friends I made there. I’ve been sending them 1g carts for 20 bucks and they can’t get enough of them.
Yea I just got a clone straight from the mother plant. Guess you can get it straight from a mother plant.
250.00 for a clone, crazy! I mean, who would pay that? Oh' sure I know there are people that would, but nobody I know ever would! But that's always going to be a real problem for people that live in states where their legislators enact ridiculous bylaws in their cannabis related legislation.
Also try and find Lemon Larry. Cali connection has a Larry og but as the description says not 100% genetics.
