I've got two different strains, two plants, and they've been growing for about 6 weeks. One morning i come in to check on them and i see these BUMPS! Are these plants male???
hi m8 im no expert but i cant see any DEFINATE signs of male although 1 pic looks like tiny balls starting . if it was me id wait a while b4 making any final decision,if they are males there in no danger of polinating your other plants yet.its deffo worth waiting a while to be certain .
1st pic, not sure, -too early 2nd pic - not sure, too early, but i'm a little worried about that little ball looking thing in the fork on thr right hand side.
So right now it's too early to know for sure, but it's looking like their male? Insert expletives here.

Well, thanks for the input. i'll give them a little while longer before i give up entirely. Sucks to put in 6 weeks of effort and have them turn out male.
Slow down, folks. Don't paint the nursery blue until you see clusters of balls. That 2nd pic does have a suspicious looking nubbin in it, but there is just no way to tell yet.
You're so right. i did a lot more in-depth research, looking at all the photos I can and realized that both males and females in the very beginning start out with nubs... females sprout out of pods, they could still go either way. i took a really close, hard look at my own after looking at all the photos and i'm not sure. So i guess i'll see in a few days. I'm less panicky about it now though, so thanks.
