  2. Yeah, since your tap is pretty clean, it's possible you were lacking in calmag early on. Going heavy on the nutes could have exacerbated a deficiency with lock out.
I'd take a gallon of your tap and add enough calmag to get ppms around 200. That would be your base water. Then add your nutes to get ppms to around 350. Then do the math to get your full res at the same values.
As they get larger, you can bump the ppms up a little. Or, if ppms are dropping, that tells you they are eating and can stand a higher dose.

  8. Hellova deal on that case! Even with having to pick it up.
One of these days I'll get me some quick release cymbal mounts. They certainly are a time saver.
That's one thing about the upper end hardware (I've broken enough cheap stuff), it's durable, but effing heavy!

The Gibraltar rack tool is nice to have for those finger killing wing nuts.

Preflowers are showing along the stem. Will continue to use grow nutes. Will start to blend in Flower nutes over the next week and half. Once flowers show full flower nutes, sugar daddy and blossom.

  10. The cloning gel I use seems so much simpler! Its new on the market but way cheaper than the others and works just as great. Midas products, check them out. https://amzn.to/2kJBEeD

Ok Crankz and crew, 10 days? They haven't had water for 4 days. The big pots hold a lot of nutes they don't need so 1 more small drench ro water flush tomorrow.

Hey Crankz - got a question for you since you have a good handle on the electrical stuff...

I got one of the 2-board QB kits from HLG. Has two QB288s and came with the meanwell HLG-240H-C2100A driver. Great little kit, but throws a lot of heat in my mini tent even at low wattage. Further, I doubt if I will ever actually need max wattage in there - got seedlings and/or early veg plants in that environment.

Do you know if a smaller power supply would work if I wired it up the same? I was thinking of trying the HLG 185H-C1400A or even the 150H-30A... I assume the lower wattage (185 or 150) would be fine... Not sure how the 1400 or 30 bit play into compatibility though...

Ideally I want to wire it up the same way, but have the low-watt setting be a fair bit lower than my current low and have the high-watt setting be the same or a little stronger than my current low-watt setting... (if that even makes sense)...

EDIT - no sooner do I post do I find my answer. The 185H-C1400 driver would work, or I could go for the 120H-C1400... I'm gonna source a 185!

  19. Haha... Yeah it's pretty simple. As long as output voltage of a driver is enough for the boards, then it's just a matter of picking what amperage you want. At least with series wiring and constant current drivers. It gets a little different with parallel wiring and constant voltage drivers and/or running series and parallel circuits together. It all falls into Ohms law though...

Musta been doing stoner math last time I updated. Thought the tent was closer than it is.
It's just now at 7 weeks. So, at least another week. Possibly more. Haven't scoped em yet, but I just know they can't be ready yet.

Since the tent is pretty close, and I had more clones than needed, I figured I'll do another run in it. Only this time in some coco I have left.
Stuck one in dirt too, for a mother, but it fell over when RH tanked.
Trimmed it up and got a dome over it. Actually looks better than it did. So, it should come around. Not like it really matters. Can always get cuts from the others before they're flowered.
    It's practice...

They were all looking about the same. Ones in coco had no probs.
That damned happy frog dirt... lol
Maybe I got a shitty bag.
Oh well, it's all good :GettingStoned:
