Cow manure and flushing?

  1. Hey I just transplanted the plant i will be force-flowering into a mix of cow manure and native soil.

The cow manure smells like... well... manure, and i'm worried about it affecting the final taste.

After 2 months of flowering, will i end up with manure tasting product?

  2. I am not sure that it is a great idea to be putting in raw manure at this point anyway. I have never used it myself, but my understanding is you really want it to sit in the hole for a couple months and even further decay before you plant into it.

  3. Its a pre-composted mix so I don't think I have to let it sit any more... and I know I'm starting quite late, but I had a lot of noob mistakes so far (first grow) and its slowed down plant growth.

  4. My old grandad always grew his tomatoes in manure, and they just tasted of tomato. (Damn good tomato, actually)

And I use horse shit for my MJ, but make sure it is well rotted.
