Hey all, just looking for some advice or confirmation on my own diagnosis. I have dwc, ISS, 4th week flower. In the under canopy I have what appears to be a potassium deficiency, deadened areas on the leaves that are like brow splotches. Also, on almost the entire plant the very tips of the leaves are brown/yellow and curled up in a tight curl, but only at the very very tips. Also, some of the leaves towards the top of the plant, like 2-3 of the big fan leaves, are yellowing with green staying in the veins. Looking at just the burnt tips I would have to say it's over fert, but in conjunction with the potassium deficiency signs in the undergrowth and the yellowing of the big fans I am thinking it wants nutes, can under fert cause the tips to burn/curl? I am using GH nutrients doing the Lucas Formula and have never had a problem in the past with overferting, these plants are bigger than any i've had (iss grows big) so I am thinking I may have an under fert problem, anyone with suggestions or thoughts please chime in, thanks and peace
ph is around 5.8, ppm is unknown at the moment, I have never used a ppm meter in the past but am now awaiting one to come in the mail, ordered offline. The wattage is 1000w hps, humidity is around 60 percent in the undercanopy, temps around 75, good airflow. I can get some pics up later, I am interested to see what my ppms are, I added a little humboldt hydro honey as well as started using enzymes this grow, so I am thinking it could be a ppm issue.....I will check ph again tonight and make sure nothing funky is going on there.
I think my culprit is root rot. Got enough air stone in there now to where it's making a froth at the surface, gonna make sure no light leaks are there tonight, and add some hygrozyme or something and try to salvage these plants. Got some good looking root growth going but also a ball of yuck
