Hey guys, This is our first grow. We're in a closet we built ourselves, dimensions are 40"W x 22"D x 76"H. We have a 400W MH bulb with 4 100W CFLs for some added side lighting. Since this is our first grow we did 5 different ladies, for experimentation: Super Lemon Haze, White Widow, Super Cheese, Northern Lights x Skunk, and Dutch Passion Blueberry. We're using a totally organic soil we mixed ourselves and the girls seem to really love so far. We basically followed: http://forum.grasscity.com/organic-growing/1116550-easy-organic-soil-mix-beginners.html We're almost 7 weeks deep into vegging (day 46 to be exact) and thinking that we're getting close to flower time, but we have a couple of concerns. First, we're in 2 gal, 10" nursery pots and our girls are already about 18" tall. Do we need to go to bigger pots for or during flowering? I don't think we expected them to do quite as well as they have been, they're really taking off! We were thinking 3 or 4 Gal, 12"-14". But can we transplant so close to flowering? Should we wait until after we start flowering for a couple weeks? We don't want to shock them, obviously. Second, we have 5 ladies crammed in there - do you think we're going to run too short on space? Should we get rid of our smallest/ weakest girl (which is unfortunately blueberry) to give the others more room to flourish? We wouldn't have even attempted this whole thing if it wasn't for the GC community - you guys rock!! This grow is the most fun we've had in a long time!
