Okay so starting around December, I would get FPS problems in League of Legends. After around 15 minutes of playing, it would drop to 3 or 4 fps. It would stay like that for around 5 minutes, then go away for around 5 minutes, then come back. Even after always turning my setting on Very Low, it would happen. I thought it was just LoL, so I reinstalled it and everything, and then tried updating my drivers, but nothing was working. And now on every single game that I play, whether it be the browser game BeGone, or Minecraft, or any type of game that I want to play, I get these damn FPS problems. Could anyone help me with this? Is it my graphics card? Or just my computer? I have Windows 7, so it's not like it's outdated. Also, I also have a problem where my fans get VERY loud for around a minute every once in a while, even with just Chrome open. If you need any extra info about my computer to diagnose or help me solve the problem, just ask. Thanks in advance! Also, my graphics card is an NVIDIA GeoForce 9100, if that makes any difference. Silicon (v)Alley is too dead so I'm not getting responses there.
Computer hardware is outdated the second it is released. Get more ram. (I'm sure there is more to it but I'm not a tech geek whatsoever)
the 9100 is just an integrated processor on your motherboard and not a video card that's probably the problem.. not really made for playing games
List out your specs for me. I agree with the guy above that your intergrated video card has to go. Your card: Legit card: Do you have a laptop?
I asked you to post your specs dude. Don't just look at the pictures, this isn't a children's book. Edit: I'm not going to keep sitting on your thread trying to help you. Here are the requirements for LOL, if you don't have them that's what you need to change, if everything is within that range it's probably your graphics card. Minimum System Requirements: 2 GHz processor 1 GB RAM (Windows Vista and 7 users will want 2 GB of RAM or more) 2 GB available hard disk space Shader version 2.0 capable video card Support for DirectX v9.0c or better Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7. (Note: Mac OS and Linux are not currently supported.) Recommended System Requirements 3 GHz processor 2 GB of RAM (Windows Vista and 7 users should use 4 GB of RAM or more.) 6 GB available hard disk space GeForce 8800 or equivalent video card (Dedicated GPU with 512MB+ Video Memory(VRAM)) Support for DirectX v9.0c or better. Windows XP with the latest service pack installed, Windows Vista with the latest service pack installed, or Windows 7 (As stated above: Mac OS and Linux are currently not supported.)
