I think it's worth it. If you ever get bored with the amount of trolls, immaturity, and disrespect on the regular forums, Nirvana is a great place to get away from it all. There's a lot of chill people in there. It's also a great place if you're interested in chatting more privately. For the amount of time I spend on GC, I was more than happy to pay the small price for a membership...just to help out... Even if there was no Nirvana, I still like the extra avi and sig permissions granted to gold members...makes me feel special... Plus you can send PMs to multiple users, and store more in your box...
