  1. i currently have 3 LowRyder #2 plants flowering under 8 42w 2700k clf's in a mini fridge. its getting pretty warm and i was wondering what would happen if i turned on the firdge? would that kill the plants? is there such thing as a timer that would only keep the fridge on when it gets above a certain temperature?

  2. Great question, and im subbing this thread to find out the answer.

  3. I would rig it as such: fridge to a timer. Find out what works and monitor temps. Try something like 2 min on, 10 off.

  4. Ehh, I'm not sure. It may be harmful because of the freon and whatnot.

  5. Do u store your food in a fridge?

  6. Sure, you can run the cooling system to cool off your plants. Keep in mind the cold coil will condense humidity and you may wind up with a pool of condensation in your box over time.

The refrigeration system is sealed (unless you have leaks).

Running the fridge to a timer will work fine, just be sure you allow 2-3 minutes in between cycles.

  7. i found an online store that sells plug in thermostats for window airconditioners. it will keep the fridge on as long at the temperature goes above 28 degrees.

now i just need to find a way to keep the humidity down:(
