I drive a 2004 Honda Accord Ex Coupe and I seem to be having some electrical issues on the driver's side door. It's odd because some things work fine and some things do not. Doesn't work: Power window, only driver's side. Power lock, for both doors. My remote works just fine but the lock and unlock buttons on the remote obviously don't work either. One of the seat adjustment controls. Does work: Mirror adjustment control Button for Passenger side window on driver's side One of the seat adjustment controls. (Sorry if that was confusing) Can anyone point me in the right direction on this? The passenger side controls seem to be fine. And all other areas work just fine, except the CD player. The guy I talked to said something like multicomplex something or another...
If it's going bad it's going bad. Who did you talk to? Dealership tech, or some random shop tech? The part for the driver side cost $125 http://www.hondapartssales.com/lisl...&systemcomp=&vinnoT=&trim=&trans=&view=normal I noticed the 2001 Accords had a TSB(technical service bulletin) for multiplex units. You may want to call up the dealership and ask if there is a TSB on your car for the multiplex control unit. If there is a specific TSB for that problem, it should be fixed for free by the dealership.
